Thank you SO much Carrie!! That comment really lifted my spirits today! ♥

My kids have been asking me to watch a lot of the older classics too, like Mary Poppins and Wizard of Oz, so oldies can be goodies too! LOL!

Hi! I just wanted to say thanks again for the themed movie night inspiration. Things have been busy, so tonight was the first theme night & I decided to do a movie we haven't watched in a long time-- Little Mermaid. I had them all do a starfish craft, gave them little fish crackers and oyster crackers and some juicy juice sparkling berry drink (in pretty blue cans) and then for dessert after the movie they each got a baggie of "fish food" (Nestle's Dibs ice cream bits). And just to let you know, my kids are 15, 12 and 9 and they thought it was great. My oldest wants to do a whole theme month for Pirates 1-2 & 3 before #4 comes out, and my middle wants me to keep a scrapbook of all the fun stuff we do. So, I know this is long-winded, but wanted you to know that your little blog reached out and gave me some much needed inspiration to step out of the everyday routines of school, homework & chores. Have a good weekend!
